Baidu and Foxconn Prepare Smartphone Work with Baidu Yi
Baidu and Foxconn rumored to being involved in a joint project of making the entry level smartphone targeted for the local market (China). Cheap mobile phones will be equipped with a 3.5-inch screen, high resolution camera and powerful 1400mAh battery.
This phone will work with Baidu Yi, platform-based mobile operating system Android, Google’s core applications minus. Things like the app store, search engines and instant messenger has been replaced with Baidu’s applications and services themselves.
In September 2011 ago, Baidu also announced that they partnered with Dell to bring smartphones Streak memiliki1.5GHz D43 Pro dual-core processor and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED QHD screen plus, but this phone is marketed failed.
China’s search engine giant will be responsible for software problems, while Foxconn will be responsible for the issue of Smartphone hardware they are filmed. Most likely the price of a smartphone is in the range of 159 USD.
